The premise…

Something Like Stories 2

Many of the stories in this collection were written for Patreon. My intent was to pen extremely short pieces of fiction that allowed us to check in with the lives of various characters. As always with this series, I couldn’t help getting carried away. I soon began writing fully-fledged stories that not only saw the return of Ben, Tim, Jason and others, but also allowed lesser known characters to finally have their say, as well as entirely new ones too. While many of the stories use a holiday as the framing device, they still contain the same emotional twists as the full-length novels. With the end of the series in sight, this project soon became like a bucket list—a final chance to tell the stories I hadn’t yet found room for in the main series.
