By cupid’s diaper! It’s a brand new cover for a brand new book! This time Andreas and I wanted to do something a little different. I grew up reading fantasy novels, which means covers that are usually a scene right out of the story. Romance is a different genre and often there aren’t specific scenes well-suited to becoming a cover. Er, aside from the naughty ones. Not wanting to go there, we decided the art should express the heart of the story. And here it is, two guys against a pink backdrop like a giant valentine—one of them looking up in admiration, the other slightly down with angst. I love angst! The right-hand side of the image below is all most people will see, since shopping for books these days means squinting at little front cover thumbnails. But for us here and those that buy paperback, the horizon can be seen unfolding behind the two guys, the possibilities endless. That’s certainly how love can feel—or there might be more to it than that. You’ll have to read Kamikaze Boys to find out. For now, let us know what you think of the cover.
